The EOS mainnet has launched. EOS has frozen its old ERC 20 tokens and is now running its new mainnet. Developers can now build additional dApps (DAPPS). Along with that, news of airdrops is starting to trickle in one by one.

What Is an Airdrop?

An airdrop (Air Drop) is when tokens are given out for free to token holders based on certain criteria. In other words, tokens are being scattered from the sky? Sometimes you have to complete a few tasks to receive an airdrop, but most of the time they're just handed out. Still, you need to be careful at times. If anyone asks for your private key or personal information under the pretext of an airdrop, it's almost 100% safe to say it's a scam. Among the EOS airdrops below, too, you should absolutely skip any that ask for your private key.

To join the airdrop, you need to register using this link. I couldn't be bothered, so I didn't... On top of that, they say you get an extra drop if you send 0.001 ETH in the official chat room. It gave off a bit of a scam... vibe, so I passed. Every registered participant is said to receive 150K EDNa tokens, worth $150, in their wallet.
