Bitcoin Pumps Hard and the FOMO Hits

2 min read · · Korean original

Bitcoin shot up yesterday, which honestly surprised me a bit. I actually thought it would break below $18,000 and plunge into the abyss, but after moving sideways under 19k for a while, it suddenly jumped 10%.

Looking at the big bro ranked #1 on the Binance leaderboard, he took a stop-loss for the first time in a while. He cut about KRW 2.5 billion in losses in a single day. I guess brother Changpeng took that, right? Still, no need to worry, since this guy's profits are around KRW 450 billion. Trading really is all about risk management.

I wrote a short note in my LUNA journal: so far this month I've made about KRW 4 million shorting LUNA, and took roughly KRW 3 million in profit trading UST, BNB, ETH and so on.

With BTC pumping like craaazy, the FOMO is hitting me hard, but I'm holding it in well. Personally I see this as a short squeeze, and I think it'll be very hard for the market to turn bullish during the next 1-2 years of high inflation.

It's Chuseok, so I came home for the first time in a while and slept really well. I saw my family and relatives, ate lots of good food and recharged, and tomorrow I head back up to Seoul.

Big bro Bitcoin, please go up a little more slowly. I haven't finished buying yet.
