How to Use MyEtherWallet (Connecting It with MetaMask)

Hello, this is Bitpunk. In this post, I'll explain how to use MyEtherWallet by connecting it with MetaMask. When you claim airdrops, you sometimes need to receive them through MetaMask. It offers better security than MyEtherWallet (MEW) and is also more convenient, so I recommend it to anyone who uses MEW. Here's how.
1. Install MetaMask in the Chrome browser https://metamask.io/
When you first sign up, you'll be shown a set of words, and you need to copy it down and keep it safe. It's a kind of master password. If you lose it, that's simply the end. If it leaks to someone else, the coins in your MEW will be gone from that day on. So you really, really have to save it. Don't store it in an email or on the web. You really, really need to make a hard copy.

2. Link the account
1) Once the installation is complete, a fox icon will appear at the top of your Chrome browser. Click the fox button. A window will pop up. Click the person icon at the bottom.

2) Then another window like this will appear. I used Create Account to make an account. But even if you don't, a new account will be created automatically when you link one. Click Import Account, which I've marked with a red box below.

3) Now it's time to paste your MyEtherWallet Private Key.

3. Done
That's right. It was that simple. You can see my modest ETH balance below. That wraps up how to use MyEtherWallet by connecting it with MetaMask. Thank you.
