- Token utility: The $BB token is used for staking, protocol incentives, gas fees, and governance participation.
- Technical features: Dual-token PoS, a native LSD module, secure custody, OES settlement, and more.
What Is the BounceBit Project?
BounceBit is a BTC restaking chain built on a CeDeFi framework that lets you use your Bitcoin to take part in network validation and earn yield.
The BounceBit platform helps users earn yield on their Bitcoin through a range of arbitrage strategies, and it offers a BTC-pegged coin known as bounceBTC (BBTC).
Restaking and the Token System
BounceBit's restaking system gives BBTC or BB tokens to network validators, who take part in the network's consensus process and provide additional security.

When a user deposits assets into BounceBit, a Liquid Custody Token (LCT) representing those assets is issued at a 1:1 ratio to provide liquidity.
