How to Get the Binance KYC Mystery Box for Free

Starting July 1, 2022, new Binance users will receive a Binance KYC Mystery Box as a reward for completing identity verification. Follow the step-by-step guide below to get a special NFT.

What Is the Binance KYC Mystery Box?

The Binance KYC Mystery Box contains a commemorative NFT designed by Binance. New users who register on or after 2022-07-01 and complete identity verification on their Binance account can receive a Mystery Box.

The NFT serves as a special token that can earn you special rewards within the Binance ecosystem. The reward is distributed to your account after you successfully complete identity verification and can be claimed within 14 days.

Currently, the Binance KYC Mystery Box cannot be purchased, listed or traded on the market, and it cannot be withdrawn from Binance until further notice.

Why Do I Need to Complete Identity Verification?

Identity verification, or Know Your Customer (KYC) , is designed to protect your account from fraud, corruption, money laundering and terrorist financing.

All new users must complete verification to access Binance products and services, including crypto deposits, trading and withdrawals.

Existing users who have not completed identity verification will have their account permissions temporarily changed to "Withdraw Only," and will only be able to withdraw funds, cancel orders, close positions and make repayments.

How to Get the KYC Mystery Box

1. Once you complete identity verification, you can receive the special KYC Mystery Box reward. You will get an email notification asking you to claim your KYC Mystery Box.

Alternatively, once your account is verified, you can go to the Binance NFT Marketplace and click [User Center] - [Mystery Box] to claim it.

2. Your claimed Mystery Box will appear under [Mystery Boxes] - [Binance KYC Mystery Box]. Click on it to reveal your NFT.

3. Click [Open Box] in the pop-up window.

4. You can now see the NFT you received. NFT rewards currently cannot be traded or sold.

New users in certain countries may also receive a voucher after completing identity verification.
